- The Bible: The autographs of the bible (the documents of the Old and New Testament) in their original languages are the inerrant word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16-17, 2 Peter 2:20-21, 3:15-16) The bible is the only infallible authority for faith, worship and practice. (John 10:35, 1 Cor. 4:6, 2 Thes. 3:14-15) The period of public revelation ended with the coming of Christ and the completion of the New Testament. (Luke16:16, Rev. 22:18-19)
- God: There is one God who created, sustains and directs the universe, who is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. (Deu. 6:4, Mark 12:29) He has revealed Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit has existed in unity as three persons from eternity past. (Gen.1:1-3, Mat. 28:19) God is love (1 John 4:8, 16) and desires to provide endless joy to people in accordance with his eternal plan. (1 Tim. 2:4-5)
- Man: Humans were created to glorify God, enjoy him and enter into a relationship of love and worship with him. (John 4:23-24, Isa. 43:7,21, 1 John 4:7-8) But all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23) and are wholly unable to do his holy will. (Rom. 3:10-20) For this reason they are under the judgment of God. (John. 3:18,36, Eph. 2:1-2)
- Jesus Christ is the savior prophesied by all of the prophets. (Luke 24:27, Acts 3:18) He is the Word of God who took on a human body through the Virgin Mary with the power of the Holy Spirit. (The title “Son of God” reflects spiritual, not physical, sonship. John 1:1-3, 14-18) As the sacrifice who takes away the sin of the world, only His sinless life, death and resurrection save humanity from eternal torment. (Rom. 5:18, 5:9-10) And he currently lives to intercede for those who draw close to God at the right hand of the Father. (Eph.1:20-23, İbr. 7:25)
- Salvation: All those who, in sincere repentance, receive Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior, not relying on good works but rather faith in Christ, will be cleansed of sin in the sight of God. (Rom. 3:24-25, 4:4-8) A believer, as a result of their being saved, lives a life of thanks and praise to God, submits to His will, and lives a life that pleases Him, the life that God prepared for the believer beforehand. (Rom. 5:1-2, Eph. 1:6, 12, 14, 2 Cor. 5:9, Eph. 2:8-10, 1 John 2:6)
- The Holy Spirit of God causes believers to be born again spiritually and marks us with the seal of our eternal inheritance. (John 3:3-8, Eph. 1:13-14) The Holy Spirit lives in believers (John 14:16, Rom. 8:9), strengthens them to live a holy life in union with God. (Gal. 5:22-23), and gives them spiritual gift so that they can serve the congregation. (1 Cor. 12:4-7, 11)
- The church is made up of those who are saved. (Acts 2:47) Believers come together regularly as a local church to live out their faith and worship together. (Acts 2:42) Other than the leaders approved by the members of local churches, no universal authority over all churches seen in the New Testament. Jesus Christ is the only head of the church and there can be no other.
- Satan, who was created as a mighty angel, rebelled against God in pride (Isa. 14:12-15; Eze. 28:12-19) and became His greatest enemy. His power was taken from him when he was defeated on the cross (Matt. 12:28, 29; Col. 2:15) but he continues to deceive non-believers with his lies. (2 Cor. 4:4) Believers, by resisting his attacks and temptations (Eph. 6:10-18; James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:9), find grace and strength to defeat him in Christ.
- Last things: Jesus Christ will come to the earth again and set up his kingdom of righteousness. (Matt. 25:31) In the end, the dead will be raised, the universal day of judgment will come and eternal order will begin. (Matt. 25:46, John 5:29, 2 Thes. 1:9, Rev. 21:1-7, 22:1-5)
